general protection fault delete file ane???

I get a message at start up that says general protection fault delete file.
There is no information about which file to delete. Any ideas?

Also I have a batch of virus in the QUARANTINE folder and no way to get them
off my computer. They were put there by McAffee virus protection program.
Any way to safely get rid of them?

Doesn't McAffee provide a method to delete these files?
