Gema trogen horse

I have got the gema virus I have a fire wall and I've got it set up to block
any outgoing malicious scrips etc. Norton,s site gives conflicting advise

using xp home and Norton say disable the backup and then go on to say use
backup to save the registy. Its a catch 22 . Also Norton seem to be the only
antivirus firm aware of the Gema trojan horse. They say they where aware of
it in the 12/12/03 and updated on 25/12/03.

Anyone found this virus and how did they cure it.

Remove it manually as explained on www.invircible.com/item/53.
