I installed the Windows Antispyware program a few months
ago and have had no issues with my computer. That is
until yesterday, I turned my computer on and got a
warning that my hard disk was full. I have my hard drive
partitioned into three partitions, and my C:/ (which has
Windows XP Pro and essential programs only on it) is now
indicating in is completely full. I got a warning that
pops up now stating hard disk space is low. This has
never been an issue before. I ran my Anti-Virus software
and found nothing. I ran Microsoft Antispyware and found
nothing. I looked in my processes and found
that "gcasdtserv.exe" is running and using 99% of my
CPU. This is the Microsoft Antispyware process and this
high usage has never been an issue before. Does anyone
have any ideas and/or have you encountered any similar
problems like this before?
