I manually put a gateway address on my 2-computer network running
Win2003 server and XP. Then I switched to "obtaining address
automatically. When I did IPCONFIG /all the gateway address was blank.
Any ideas? Would appreciate the input. Thanks.

Thank you for your reply.Will using DHCP makes it stop having a gateway address?
 
this depends on the DHCP server configuration, if DHCP server is configured
to provide the gateway ip, it will include in the client machine, otherwise
NO.
