The Gateway machine I use runs Win XP PRO it will NOT enter standby if
I set the time to more than 20 minutes, it just keeps on running.
My feeling is that if there is a program in the background keeping it
from entering standby, it would NEVER enter that state at all no
mattter what the time limit was.
Gateway's answer is to remove the ACPI FIXED FEATURE, I am afraid that
if I do this I won't be able to re install it if I want to, without a
major pain. Am I correct in my thinking?
Any guidance from the guru's would be appreciated! 8)
