Gateway monitor EV910 troubles

I just got a 19" Gateway monitor, and it seems to be alright except for
one peculiar thing;

there seems to be a small shadow to the right of everything; every
character, symbol, graphic, etc, has an almost transparent shadow about
3 millmeters to the right. DeGaussing doesn't seem to do anything for
this.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried a different VGA-cable? Sounds like you are having
trouble with ghosting. It might als be a VGA-card problem. Try the
VGA-cable first, but not one of those cheap ons of 2$ or 2euro's.
