Gap on my forms mean parts are off the screen

Hi

I have created a from with a title in the header, the fields in the detail
followed by a small subfrom. There is nothing below the subform except the
form footer which has some extra buttons. I have resized the form so that it
fits in the screen fine in design view and I have moved the form footer up so
it begins directly underneath the subform. When I run the form there is a
large gap between the subform and footer which ruins the layout as the footer
is out of view. Why is this and what needs to be changed?

Set AutoSize to Yes and then CLOSE and reopen. You won't see the true size
when going from design view.
