Try - Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and then click in the left column on 'Add/Remove Windows Components'. Games are under 'Accessories and Utilities. Have you tried trying to start them via Start>Run - then type in "freecell" - without the quotes. That might tell you if they are still on your hard disk or not.
