Games not working - split screen

Hi

Can anyone help me. I have a fairly new PC running win xp home but I cannot
get some of my sons games to work - even though they run under XP.

Everytime I run them the screen sort of splits and the top half of the game
is at the bottom of my screen and the bottom half of the game is at the top??

I have an emachine 3210 and the graphics card is Intel something (probably
on built!!). The drivers are up to date and I have tried the compatibilty
modes with no luck.

I have also tried all the display settings and hertz and I always get the
same.

Can anyone help me - my son wants to play his new thomas the tank engine
games!!

Failing that you could try the web site for the game. There may be a forum
or some kind of support available there.
