games folder disappeared

I had my installed games folder on my desktop. It had no
additional games, only what came loaded with witndows
XP. Suddenly, the folder is empty. I have checked my
computer for a virus, and it is clean. The anti-virus
program (Norton) continues to run daily. Can someone
tell me how to get my games back?
Thanks.

Hi Dale,

You can make a new shortcut to the games by copying:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Games
to your desktop. If that folder is empty, reinstall the games...

Here's how to add or remove Windows XP Games:
===================================
Click START / Control Panel
Click Add or Remove Programs
Click Add Remove Windows Components
Click Accessories and Utilities
Click [Details...]
Click Games
Click [Details...]
then check (or uncheck and then recheck the games)
Click [Next] or [OK] to finish.
