Games dont work?

I had problems getting my games to run on an ati x300 i now bought a
marginally better Nvidia card and my games still refuse to run? I get DL file
error messages. Or file cannot be found on source disk? Not only did i
upgrade my graphics but also my cd rom. I purchased a sata LG dvd burner
which has given me numerous frozen screens and i've only had it 5 minutes? Am
i just thickal or is technology getting worse not better? Are IDE burners
more stable? I thought LG was a good company for such a device? Anyone?

Try to upgrade your dirext to newest version.
