Games crash, help me please!

Ive been having alot of trouble running games lately. Many games crash
randomly during play to the desktop or restart the computer entirely. The
problem is worse with Halo as it crashs as soon as the option screen loads.

The problem began around a time when the vent viewer got clogged with error
messages much like this:

The COM+ Event System detected an unexpected error from a Win32 API call at
line 866 of d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier2\notify.cpp. A call to
PostThreadMessage failed with error code : "The operation completed
successfully. " Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report
this error.

Any idea how to fix this, any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Suggestion: Buy an XBox or a GameBoy. This is a computer not an arcade.

Last time I checked, my Xbox and my Gameboy were not an arcade either, let
me look again, nope, no children, change machines or Outrun 2 cabinets in
either of them.

Try updating drivers for your graphics card, and make sure you are running
the latest everything. I have never encountered this particular problem but
that is a good place to start.
