My very first game on a supposedly bob -itchin' new XP
PRO system and it crashes on me 75% of the time.. The
crash is a 0xd1 with a file name of usb0hci.sys 90% of
the time and the other times it is nvidia's nv4_disp
driver. The computer never crashes except when running
conflict: back to baghdad II. I've disabled the firewall,
and NAV, AND STILL get the usbohci.sys 0xd1 crash 7 times
out of 10. I wanna know, who in san diego wants to get
paid $75 an hour to fix this bs?

again, system is:

AMD ATHLON 2400+ 1.86 GIG
512 MEG RAM
GEFORCE FX 5600 w/ 256 meg ram (yes, it has the updates)
xp pro

Hi Mikey,

Download the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset,
nVidia video card, and USB adapters if you have extra ones
plugged in and repair your Windows Installation. After the
repair, immediately update those drivers. Here's some tips:

1. Try updating your Video drivers using the instructions at: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers

2. How To Repair Windows:
Unplug from your Internet connection, and then repair Windows:
using this method: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Afterwards, boot up your system, turn on your XP Internet Firewall,
plug back into your Internet connection and install all Critical and
Recommended updates from: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
