Yes, that always is the major gamble that we take in life and it always 'does my heart good' to hear when people win that particular lottery, however rare it might be. Gives me hope that, despite all the sh*t that can happen in life & in a relationship some people really do manage to 'live happily ever after'.

I'm probably a hopeless romantic but it retores my faith in humanity to know that some people don't just survive the ups & downs of 'marrige' but actually manage to maintain the love & affection that they had for each other at the start. I know I'm waffeling, but it always makes me feel good to know that, even though it might not have been my lot, it still can happen.
