When I start to delete this program a message comes
up:"WARNING Modifying this folder will affect all users
who log on to this computer. Do you wish to continue?"

Can I get rid of this tracker or will removal cause
problems?

The warning is just a standard windows warning. Gain is spyware\adware, you
should try uninstalling the program using the add remove programs in control
panel. Run adaware and some of the other spyware\adware detectors to make
sure you get rid of all the componants. Google for the necessary programs.
Failing that you should be able to delete the program folder. Maybe backing
it up first in case you need it later or delete something by mistake.

Get rid of the Gator malware. While you're at it, make sure to do a
thorough spyware removal job with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
to update these programs before running them. These programs are free,
so run them both since they complement each other. It is best to run
antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. You may also want to
run CWShredder and HijackThis from http://aumha.org/freeware.htm.
Although CWShredder is no longer being updated, it will still clean
older variants of the CoolWebSearch malware. Please read the
instructions carefully. Also, make sure you've visited Windows Update
and applied all security patches. Do not install driver updates from
Windows Update. Make sure you are running a firewall and have a current
antivirus using updated definitions installed.
