Fun trying to convert xls to document everyone can open!

I have Office 2003 and created spreadsheet for class schedule that I could
use formulas, hide columns, etc. Excel seemed to have more advantages over
keeping it in MS Word. However, not everyone has Excel so I have had fun
trying to convert it. It is only a two page document thank goodness. MS
MVP's have highly recommended primoPDF which is free application for the
conversion of MS Publisher files to pdf files and I have used that.
However, I have found out that primoPDF does not work very well with Excel.
The end digits in phone numbers have been truncated or blurred so that the
numbers are not legible.

I have even tried copying the Excel spreadsheet into MS Word but the options
to save the document in certain formats is limited. I can save it as a prn
file but that is not very professional looking but it is legible.

Now I decided to try MS Office Document Imaging Tool. I can import the Excel
Spreadsheet into the MS Office Document Imaging but the two pages become
corrupt. Although the pages are nice and legible. The only problem is that
the first row on the second page is the same as the first row on the first
page. Makes me think back to the days of learning COBOL and not having the
page breaks set up right!

Now I wonder if I can convert the file to web page and then convert it to
jpg file somehow?

Any suggestions anyone? Does the new Office 2007 convert Excel files to pdf
documents?

From what I understand, office 2007 has removed the native pdf saving. But it
will be available as a download from the MS site.

And PrimoPDF can create a pdf file for viewing or printing. Did you try both?

And there are other free(!) pdf tools.
David McRitchie has a bunch of notes (including different software titles):

Did you consider saving it as a web page? That way, everyone with an
internet browser and view it.

I was wanting to print it to be able to hand out at a meeting. I thought
about converting it to web page and seeing how it would print but doubt that
the page break would be satisfactory. I may toy with this though. I have
been very happy with the PrimoPDF but it does not work well with Excel to my
chagrin!
