Full Reinstall of IE6+SP1

I accidently installed a bad version of IE6 over a good version I had
(IE6+SP1) on my XP(SP1). Now I get shorter menus, wierd icons etc.
Is there a way to remove it completely and reinstall a good fresh version?
I tried to reinstall it through the ms site but it didn't work.

Thanx in advance.

Thank u but I am afraid it didn't work 4 me.
I still get the special text in the window title bar and I can't access my
"Tools -> Options -> Connections".
Is there a way to completely over-write the IE6?

Have you done a sweep for viruses and malware recently?
And what on EARTH made you " accidently installed a bad version of IE6 over
a good version I had
(IE6+SP1) on my XP(SP1). "?

For the title bar,
Go to Start | Run and type:
rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear or
rundll32.exe Iedkcs32.dll, BrandCleanInstallStubs

For the second matter try
Restore All Tabs under Internet Options

Yes I did scan, and what can I tell you: I was stupid. This is probably how
one learns NOT to do things.
