Fujitsu lifebook E6540 P3 cd floppy

I have just purchased a fujitsu siemens lifebook E6540, i know it is old but i was told it was still wireless and had internet capability, however i cannot get it to connect. Firstly there is only 1 usb point so how do i plug both the modem and the c drive in at the same time, to begin the installation process, also how do you install the c drive in the first place, this is so frustrating i was i hadn't of bother with it now. Does anyone have a clue how how these things work. Thanks
