That second comic is hilarious. Here in Boston I just payed $3.37 for Reg. Gas. Everywhere else was $3.49. sighhhh!



£1.35 / litre * 3.8 (convert to US gallons) * 1.62 (exchange rate)
If my maths is correct, we pay around $8.31 for a US Gallon of petrol here in the UK![]()
I can remember when I could fill my second hand a 1946 rover 60 it had the new side and overhead engine 1600cc engine, beautiful car and it cost £5 to fill the tank. I remember I couldn't afford the new tyres so sold it to a collector for £15 and that was in 1967, oh those were the days, and I made a fiver on the deal I only payed £10 for it in 1966
200%+ tax on petrol these days, disgrace.
