Hi,

I've done:
C:\>ftype | find "Notepad++"
and got
Notepad++_file="f:\Programme\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" "%1"

Now I want to delete "Notepad++_file" with
C:\>ftype Notepad++_file=
and I got a "not found" message.

on
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/ftype.mspx?mfr=true
I've read
To delete the open command string for a specific file type, type:
ftype FileType=

what's now?

Could be a bug in ftype.exe. You can delete the open command string by
deleting the file type from the registry. It's kept here:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Notepad++_file
