Are there any FTP servers where i can download FREEWARE?

He wants FTP addresses of servers so he can browse and download the freeware
that are hosted on them,
Not an application for FTP
 
Unfortunely, many FTP servers can both shareware, freeware & demos of
commerical software. I really haven't seen an FTP server which is
totally devoted to freeware software only.

I was afraid to get that answer. I'm looking for a long time, but
didn't find any FREEWARE FTPservers.

There's a lot of servers and mirrors with open source software (Linux &
BSD distros, related software etc). Apart from that, I haven't really
seen FTP being extensively used for free software in some years.
