If you use Windows, I would suggest IE. (no joke)

Get Filezilla. If you need to FTP, get something that does the job and
does it very well.

Count one more vote for filezilla. I've tried them all as they came
out, and I currently use FZ.

I still use WS_FTP95 LE myself.
I have it stored on several CDs
and a couple of ZIP DRIVES.

It has drag and drop even from
the Desktop, CMOD and all the
bells and whistles, although it
isn't an FTP Server, but I don't
need it for that.

It works GREAT on XP and
even will RESTART an upload
that gets terminated for some reason.

An oldie but a goodie,

Filezilla is both a Client and server...
and is probably the best one out there today ;-)

I second that, I am using WS_FTP95 LE for years now and it never has let
me down.
