Oli,
Thanks for your reply. How can I give the users the
rights to log on locally? If you meant make them a user
on the ftp server, I already did that and it didn't help.
any other suggestion?

Hi there

You can do this locally or with group policy. To do it locally, fire up
gpedit.msc and go to:

Local Computer Policy | Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security
Settings | Local Policies | User Rights Assignment | Allow Logon Locally

You need to add the group that's appropriate for your environment here.

If you are using an account called "administrator", you may not be using the
account you think you are. You can use "mydomain\adminitrator" or
"mymachine\administrator" to specify which account you want to use.
