FTP server on a W2K Pro

I enabled IIS with FTP (only) in a W2K Professional. I'm surprised that I
cannot administer anything in the "Directory Security" tab. I want to limit
access to the ftp server from certain IP Addresses only. How can I do this?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Are you behind a firewall? Depending on your firewall product, you
may be able to control access at that level. Or, IP Sec.

Yes, I'm behind a firewall (a firewalling router) which may not be able to
handle more than 100 rule entries! Is there a way to activate some kind of
filtering in the W2K Pro machine itself? I'm using this machine to act as
an FTP server period.

Thanks in advance.

IP Sec is a way to block network traffic, but I ~believe~ that all of your
traffic will appear to come from the LAN IP of your firewall, so you won't
be able to discriminate by IP. Everyone will have the same IP, in your FTP
"server's" eyes.

Yes, the ftp server is in a private LAN behind the firewalling router. All
clients will look like it comes from the same IP. So I've got to do the
filtering on the router/firewall.
