FTP folder on IE6 drive read directly??

Hi there,

How can I make an FTP site readable as if it were another drive?

I use internet explorer to log on to the FTP site and what I want to do is
to be able to do accounting via the FTP site where the data files are
stored.

So, when I start up the accounting program, I point it to My Network Places
and the 24.71.*.* FTP so called folder. Then when I call up the accounting
data it returns an error saying "cannot open company file c:\documents and
settings\username\local settings\temporary internet files\..........."
Check your data directory to be sure the file is there.

How can I fix this so that the FTP folder is more of a direct folder?

Thanks,

Gordon

I notice that not all of the newsgroups made it into OE's newsgroups field
(which is limited). It's bad etiquette crosspost to so many newsgroups.
