FTP always prompts while saving a file.

Hello All,
I log in to a FTP server through IE 6.0 and browse through files that
are html and csv files. Through my machine at home i can open any of
these files directly and they open up nicely in a browser. However at
work, it *always* prompts me to first save these files to a local
directory. Is that because of a setting that i can change?

If anybody could point me in a direction where i can change these
settings, i would appreciate it.
