Is there any tools to check the health and troubleshoot FSMO roles. For example, when I ran dcdiag on my DC, i got an error stating that my PDC emulator is down. How to I check and rectify this problem. Any available tools

DCDiag does this but you seem to have discovered that it
gives the status of the FSMO roles.

Rectifying is easy (perhaps tedious though) -- either return
the missing role holder to the net or (IF permantly lost) use
NTDSUtil roles to SEIZE the role.

Note: seizing a role is SERIOUS -- never return the original
role holder to the network (any longer than it takes to DCPromo
remove it) after performing a seize.

You can subsequently re-DCPromo it if you wish it to again be
a DC.
