FSMO for Branch Office Deployment

Hello,

I have two physical locations connected via VPN (T1 links on both
sides). The locations are subnetted into two sites. I am installing
two domain controllers, one per site, to host a Active Directory. This
will be Windows 2000-level domain, a single domain in a single forest.
I would prefer to keep as many of the FSMO roles at one location for
security purposes, but also want to minimize network traffic over the
VPN.

What is the ideal FSMO role deployment for this?

I would keep all the fsmo roles at the home site location. I can't think of
any of these that would impact replication. You will also want to make sure
you make a gc at each site, that will impact replication.
