FS Lexmark 12A1980 Cartridge

Hi All:

I have a new unused Genuine Lexmark 12A1980 Cartridge. It's new, although I
opened / discarded the protective baggie before I discovered that the
cartridge was incorrect for my Z32 printer. The seal on the printhead has
not been tampered with. I immediately sealed it a ziplock bag once I
realized it was incorrect for the application.

Is it worth $15 to anybody? Or trade plus cash towards 18L0032 / 18L0042
Lexmark cartridges I could use?

I've been looking at the Canon printers again. I had a couple of the BJC
series years ago. Terrible machines; terrible support; terrible experience.
I swore never again. But the low cost of running a Canon is a tempting
lure.

Two questions... Can these newer Canons sit idle without the problem of
cartridge / printhead clogging? Also - are the inks permanent or will they
wash away if a drop of water hits the page?
