Fruityloops and XP

I've tried to install 2 versions of fruityloops a music creation software and
each time when I try to open it.. I get nothing..

It shows in the Windows Task Manager for about 15-20 seconds before it
disappears.. I don't even get any errors in the event viewer afterwards..

Any ideas?
