Frontpage won't open PHP files?

I've got FP 2002, and when I try to open a .php file, it refuses and opens
in Notepad instead.

I've done a right-click>Open With and chosen Frontpage for the php
extension, but still no joy.

Whussup with that?

In Tool - Options - Configure Editors set the .php extension to open using FP (open as html)
