FrontPage won't connect to Internet

Also can't import website - recieving following error message:

"You are unable to import a Web site from http.... Verify the location and
then try again."

The website is there. I copied the exact address from browser and pasted
into Web Site Location box within the Import Web Site Wizard window. I have
Internet connectivity (obviously if on here), and all firewalls are turned
off.

What gives?

I have FrontPage 2003.

Open the site live (File > Open > Site/Web) then type in the full htp:
address. Wait for it to connect. Then File > PUblish Site/Web and choose
the location (local machine, file system i.e. C:\my documents\my webs.....).

It will publish everything back, based on the option whether you ask for a
full/changed pages/synchronised publish.

If this doesn't work your server/site may not have the server extensions
installed; in which case you can connect through FTP in FP (see your
host/ISP for the direction on how) and publish everything manually.

The FP http publish process is better because FP handles the publishing
process (using the server extensions); where FTP relies on the user to make
sure to transfer all the required files. FTP in Frontpage is just like any
other FTP application like CuteFTP or WS_FTP etc.

Thanks all for the comments/answers.

Problem is that I didn't publish this site originally from this computer, so
I don't have any files on this machine. I'm trying to update a site I
published years ago...

Will attempt FTP suggestion and see how that goes.

Many thanks again!
