Frontpage/Sharepoint list settings

Please let me know if this is the wrong forum for this question. I'm trying
to edit a SharePoint list web part via FrontPage so that the list by default
displays the "filter" fields (I didn't see any settings for this in
SharePoint). Is this possible? Thanks!

Just wanted to add that the web part is embedded in a site page, so I'm not
looking to have them on in the list view itself but available in the part on
that page.

Kathleen, thank you for your response, but when I tried your link the results
all took me to a "this forum has moved" message and I couldn't get beyond
that. Any suggestions?

I just tried it and it worked for me.

If it still doesn't work, do a Google search for microsoft technet forums
sharepoint and the first hit is the forums.
