Frontpage "Shared Borders" grayed out despite checking box. Why?

Have you opened a website (File->Open Site)? Shared Borders will not
work with individual pages.

If this is a new site, consider using the Dynamic Web Templates
instead of shared borders - much more flexible, and practically no
restrictions regarding JavaScript.

PS
and if using FP 2003 make sure Design time components are turned on in Tools Page Options Authoring

Still can't get shared borders, but am exploring the joys of Dynamic Web
Templates! Thanks.
