frontpage server error

I'm on a Windows 2003 server, full frontpage access, but I'm getting this
error: what exactly does this mean?

I've lodged a query with the support for my host, but just curious, as I was
able to publish yesterday afternoon (Sunday 7th). The error is:

"Server error:The folder "/" is marked executable. You are not allowed to
put files in an executable folder on this server."

It's my wwwroot folder/public_html/htdocs (whatever) folder, shouldn't I
have access to it?

My site has asp scripts (frontpage results wizard scripts etc) and also fp
server extension components such as the file upload, along with normal html.
I can't publish anything to the folder/s.

The site runs and displays OK.

It's a default setting in the server extensions for security reasons. Your
host will have to make the change, if they want to allow it.
