FrontPage problem and Vista

I've been using FrontPage for years - error free publishing. Today, new
machine, new Vista O/S I cannot save files after editing and I cannot
publish. I've removed the service.lck from each of the webs I have. I still
get comments like "Server error. Cannot open file etc. ending with
vti_cnf\index.html". Other times I see
things like "_vti_pvt.service.lck" or "_vti_pvt.service.cnf" or simply "you
do not have permission". I am the only user/administrator on my home
computer. I understand FrontPage is no longer supported but thought someone
might have a clue on wha to do - help! Thanks!

Try right clicking on the shortcut, selecting properties, open the
"compatibility tab", and running the program in "Compatibility mode" and/or
changing the "privilege level" to "Run this program as an administrator".

Play with those settings. I suspect that it will probably run better when
run as administator.

Off topic here---

Just out of curiosity, do you use the templates/artwork Microsoft
provides or do you do that yourself from scratch?
