When I try to install frontpage 2003 on my new Dell XPS 210 Windows Vista
32bit machine I get the followinf ERROR message: "This patch package could
not be opened.Varify that the patch package exists and that you can access
it" I am installing from the original cd which installed and works fine on my
old computer with Windows XP. Any advice and or direction would be
appreciated.

Check that the folder C:\Windows\Temp exists. If it doesn't create it. You
will need to have UAC turned on and allow a couple of UAC prompts in order
to create a folder in C:\Windows.

The "Temp" folder was there in the C:\windows directory. Any other
thoughts?

Try copying the CD to a folder on the hard drive and installing from there.

There is also this.

This is a last resort as it will require you to reinstall all of your Office
products. It is also not compatible with Office 2007.

What other Office products do you have installed?

Thank you my friend. Copying the files to the temp folder and installing from
there did the trick. I'm up and running.
