Frontpage keeps automatically resizing my tables

I've got a 1 row 3 column table that is supposed to be set to 166 px height.
each column has a table (Several rows 1 column) that are set to the same
height. When I close the page, it looks fine, but everytime I reopen the
site, the table is much taller than it used to be; it's as if FP added a new
paragraph after my text in each individual box. It happens each time I
reopen a page. If I don't fix it before I close, then the next time there is
another new paragraph and the table is even taller and more skewed. How do I
fix this?

Table sizes are minimums and will expand to fit content
- in your case your nested tables are stretching the outer table
(because they have larger content, or no content yet)

I wish it were that simple. Alas, it is not. My nested tables have much
smaller content- one contains a picture that is only 148px tall (I have no
border, padding or spacing). But the tables that want to keep resizing
contain small WordArt. It is as if FP places a "new paragraph" (similar to
hitting the enter key) after the Art each time I close and reopen the page.
THis expands the respective cells- thus expanding my tables. Why does FP do
this?

WordArt uses VML graphics, which use absolute positioning and should
not be placed directly into a table cell. If you do, it will give the
impression of moving around the page whenever the font-size used in
the page is changed, and also whenever the browser viewport size is
changed.

Sorry, I cannot answer your question since I never use VML graphics on
web pages.
