Frontpage keeps asking for a password, how do I publish?

I'm using FP2003 and have a am using a cable modem. I have created my web
site and am having trouble publishing the website. Every time I click
publish, it asks for my name an password. I type those in and the box pops
back up and will not publish.

I was able to get it to publish one time, and was able to upload all the
changes that day, but when I went back the next day the password box keeps
popping up.

What I have tried so far: I reset the site and tried uploading the whole
web page again with no luck. I made sure I am typing in my user name and
password correctly. I apologize if this has been discussed before but I did
as much research as I could and could not find this problem related to
FP2003, just FP2000 and the fix was related to a dial-up connection.

Yes, they walked were not that helpful but stated due to me being able to
upload sigle files using their File Manager System they stated it was a
problem with Frontpage.

Their file manager system has nothing to do with being able to use or not use FP, if the server has
the FP extensions installed.

Yes, the server has the Frontpage extenstions installed and the server I am
using allows me to activate and deactivate the FP extensions. I have tried
to to reactavate the extensions to see if that would fix any problems but it
still does not work. Does my problem look like it is going to be with the
server and not FP? They are not too helpfull.

Have you check with your cable company to see if they have a proxy server in place that might be
blocking FP's http access?

I had a similar problem with the Yahoo! Small Business server. I
was trying to publish using the full URL. They seem to require
that the leading www. be deleted. When I key in my site's URL
without the www. everything goes well.
