frontpage is very slow

The rest of Office 2003 seems normal as far as speed goes.
But Frontpage 2003 is incredibly slow to do anything.
I am constantly tabs ahead of what is actually displaying on the screen, and
scrolling locks up then teleports down the page.

It's like using an old electric typewriter. Word 2003 does the same thing
but not to the same extreme.

Is there any hotfixes or something to speed things up.

PS all Office XP software runs normally so it's just something with Office
2003

I am running XP Pro
1gb ram, 160gb SATA HD
Intel P4 3.2gb
500watt Case

Thanx but that didn't achieve anything.
I already had tried those, also tried Office SP1 which actually made it
worse.
But it maywell just be the large webpages. i had made a (556kb) page.
I made it up as a database style, so there alot of entries and links plus
some nice background gif's
Other pages i created which are only 50kb each seem to work fine for alot
longer.
I understand Office is very resource hungry but i thought the idea of
updating was to improve performance and useability. Not make thing worse.
Shame on you MS

Office XP is much better

The 556kb page is the issue.
Especially if you are running Norton Anti virus because it will scan the file every time you open
it, and every time you save it.

Part of the issue, yes... But not the total issue. cause as i stated the
small 50kb pages do the same thing, just not to the same extreme.
I don't have the same problems in Frontpage XP.

I tried disabling all tasks aswell to see if anything was conflicting, but
nothing was achieved. Thanx anywass.
I've since gone back to FrontpageXP, and kept the rest of Office 2003

I forgot to mention.I also tried breaking the page up into 3x150kb pages, to
no avail.
Must be something to do with Tables (multiple columns).

I have the exact same problem. I don't think Norton is a problem, as I have
FP2000 and can edit the same page with it and not have an issue at all.
I would really like to know the resolve as I prefer to not have to go back
to FP2000
Thanks for any Help
