FrontPage Inline Frames Troubleshooting & Shockwave

D

David S.

My FrontPage Inline Frames can be viewed here:

http://sovereignfunding.temppublish.com/test.html

If you click on the Shockwave presentations in the upper
left hand corner they don't work/nothing happens.

Yet on the original page {http://BC2122.WLGWeb.com}
(without inline frames) the Shockwave presentations works
without a hitch.

I have set my IE6 security settings to low and I am able
to view the original page without any issues so I gather
the problem is with FrontPage's Inline Frames.

How can I fix this problem or is there another way to
embed these pages into the website AND have the Shockwave
presentations work?

This is a IE issue, under security, select custom and check the inline frame
option for accessing content on another domain.

check the file that the link is supposed to be pointing to. I think your
..swf where the failing links are coming from is pointing to a non-existent
file.

Thomas,

I enabled everything in the IE security settings but it
still doesn't work.

Have you tried moving the flash content under the domain of:

sovereignfunding.temppublish.com

well, the only thing it could be is if the frame names are different.....or
Thomas's post. ;-)

A couple of quick thoughts. I didn't look too hard at this yet.

1. Are you talking about the onhover events for the buttons at the top of
the page (leaders with vision, harness the power, the real estate
advantage)? If so, I think those work fine on my machine

2. Why do you have the frame pointing to http://BC2122.WLGWeb.com instead of
pointing to http://BC2122.WLGWeb.com/default.asp?

3. FrontPage's implementation of inline frames is not special. It is just
very generic w3c compliant HTML, so if it is broken, it would be broken even
if you hand-coded it in notepad

4. I just created a new page on my own server and pointed the iframe to your
content and it loaded exactly as expected....
