Inline frame in Frontpage 2003 -

I have inline frames on my web page inserted in with Frontpage 2003. The
frames work great but when I open the page from my links it opens to the
frame and not the top of the page. What do I need to do to set the focus to
the top of the page and not the frame?

Question: Since you have scrolling disabled in the IFrame, why use even use the IFrame, use the FP
Include Page Component and create separate pages for each content area (Visa and MasterCard). This
would allow all users to see the content.

With the include page - FP wants to put the whole page in. I only want part
of the page. I am setting this up for easy management by a person at the
bank so he only has to go to one page to change all the rates on the
different pages. If I use the Inline frame I can set the size of the part I
want included and use a bookmark tag to go to the correct part of the page.
I am trying not to have to set this up with an access database and use .asp
on these pages. Can you set the amount of the page or size of the window
with include page? I have not figured out how. That is why the inline
frames works well.... but it wants to set the focus to the frame and not the
top of the page. Any other ideas on how to set the focus on a page? I
have tried to use a bookmark and have the links use the bookmark but it only
works if that page is open.

Yes and No.

Yes the whole page will be inserted when you save the page when working in the site in FP. The
problem with inline frames is that it may be indexed outside of the IFrame by search engines and
users of older non-IE browsers will not see the IFrame content, and don't expect users to upgrade
just to look at a site's content.

If would be to your advantage and the bank's to set this up using ASP and a database, then the user
would only need to have access to a browser to make updates, etc. or take a look at ContentSeed:

Thanks - For now I will just set the rates in the table on the pages.
ContentSeed wouldn't be an advantage - They have FP at the bank. I just
wanted one page to be able to go to for easy of management - I will go back
to .asp and an access database for now. I was just looking for an easier
way to manage changes on multiple pages. You are right - the inline forms
does not work with Firefox or Netscape. It will let you scroll the frames
even with the no scoll property set.

Thanks once again
