am having a problem with hyperlink and I greatly appreciate it if someone can help me out!!

I am creating a website using Frontpage 2002. I created hyperlinks to sites within the website I am working on but the problem is that the hyperlinks do not work with browser other then Internet Explorer!!! These hyperlinks do not work with Netscape or Firefox but they work fine using Internet Explorer.

I created the hyperlink by highlighting the text then select hyperlink from the Insert toolbar then select the page where I want the hightlighted text to hyperlink to.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can get the hyperlinks to work not just in Internet Explorer but also in Netscape or Firefox!??!?!?!?!?

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Hyperlinks

I downloaded Netscape to check if what you say is correct and tried untiemytv.com which is done with FP and the hyperlinks work. So perhaps you are doing something else wrong.

I should have added check View/Source you may find that your hyperlinks are directed to your HD in which case you will see it ok on your computer - but others cannot connect to your HD. It has happened to me!!

hyperlink dialog delay problem

I have a problem with Front Page 2002 - which is that whenever I bring up the create/edit hyperlink dialog box, FP takes about 25 seconds to load up the filenames of the (server-side) folder I am working in. Is there any way to turn this off? I have tried all the obvious things, such as clicking over to 'view recent files' or other non-delaying options, and then closing it again, but the dialog box in question always starts with the current server folder. I have no idea why it takes so long.

This was not a problem, as I recall, with earlier versions of FP. But I have just bought FP 2002, and this is a problem which makes the entire program unusable.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
