FrontPage Form Results

I have a form on our website, the .txt results file is in the proper place in
the _private folder. But it is not showing any results. I already went
through the whole process of creating a new results file, as prescribed in
the knowledge base. Still nothing. I've tried to open the
_private.boltonresults.txt file in FrontPage and with Windows
Explorer...nothing. For what it's worth, here's a link to the website and
form... http://martiniinthemorning.com/Bolton_Swings_Sinatra.htm
I'm baffled and have hundreds of people trying to enter a contest that
doesn't work. Thanks!

1. Your results file is: _private/BoltonEntries.txt, not _privateboltonresults.txt
2. Make sure you publish to: http://martiniinthemorning.com and not
ftp://martiniinthemorning.com
3. Make sure the _private folder has "server write" permissions. (Your host may have to
check this for you.)

Thanks Steve!

Right...I mistyped in the original post. The results file is as you've
described...Here's the info the FrontPage automatically generated for posting
the file...is there a mistake here?

Hi Brad,

Are you sure you created a file named BoltonEntries.txt and saved this to
the _private folder?

You might change the file results to Formatted text.

From the look of the page HTML the extensions are there. If the file does
exist, try reinstalling the extensions from your user CP and then republish.
You might also add an email address. Site mail is best for this.

In order to view the results, make sure to open the site live with FrontPage
to check for any posted entries.

Are you looking for the results file on the server, or on your PC? It
will not be on your PC.
