Frontpage Form Results to Excel Spreadsheet

Is there a way for me to configure the submit form results in frontpage to an
excel spreadsheet in the private folder like I am already doing with a text
file? I looked in the knowledge base and it sounds like you can but there
are no options in the form configuration window to choose my spreadsheet

The text file is a CSV file, which you should be able to import into Excel.
That would be the simplest method.

But I don't think it can write to an excel (xls) file specifically.
