I manage a website using FrontPage 2003. I connect to a third-party webhost
via the FrontPage or Sharepoint Services option. Up until a few days ago, I
was running Windows 2000 operating system on my machine and having no
problems connecting to the webhost. Since I installed Windows XP
Professional on my machine, I can no longer connect to the webhost. Instead,
I receive a message which suggests that the web server does not support
FrontPage extensions or does not have SharePoint services installed.
However, I know this is incorrect since the website itself is still
available, and the hosting company confirmed that all extensions and services
have been installed on the web server. Could there be something with the
Windows XP installation that is conflicting with my ability to connect to the
web server? I have to resolve this soon as my business relies on my managing
the results on the web server.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
