Chaz,
In the past, MS has tended to let news start about an upcoming
release of the Office suite towards the end of summer/early fall of the year
before the product is expected to come out. If MS is planning something and
we haven't heard about it already, chances are we won't hear anything for at
least half a year.
Hope this helps,

Well in that case it will probably be U.S. summer 2005 for a 2006 release or U.S.
summer 2006 for a 2007 release.
Microsoft are probably busier working on "Longhorn" for, I believe, a mid or end
2006 release or something, then they'll develop Office and other apps to support
"Longhorn".
Just guessing, but I tend to agree with Andrew. Look for
betas late 2005 an a release early 2006, say, at least 6-8
mths before Longhorn.
Micrsoft have indicated that the next vers of Office will
not be in line with Longhorn release, and Longhorn will be
more alligned with the next Server platform.
