Frontpage 2003 MPEG WONT PLAY

G

Guest

Hi I really need help here. I have been using Frontpage for a while now. I am
having problems getting MPEG and indeed any other video format to play. I do
all the proper steps for inserting and indeed it plays when you right click
the the page the video is in then select open with internet explorer.

But when I publish it to my web server at ipower web ( hosting Company) It
wont play. I have checked to see if it is on the website and IT IS. I am
really stressed with this can anyone help Please. Am I missing something. I
have tried everthing from reinstalling Frontpage 2003. I also used various
formats MPEG and AVI

Thanks

Hey Tom

Forgive me. I am a liitle confused. www.Plasticair.com when you open this,
in the middle you will see the empty box. Now haw do I send or indeed know
the full URL for this as the video Clip is in this page.

I went to the Code and it says:
<img border="0" dynsrc="CLIP%20VIDEO.mpg" start="fileopen" loop="infinite"
width="165" height="151" align="left" hspace="3"></a></td>

Is this helpful or am I out for lunch. Tom can you explain please

Thanks

I see you file just fine.

Remove all spaces (%20) from file and folder names, as this can cause problems.

OK I completely installed a new video called CLIPVIDEOM.mpg. Fresh with no
hyperlinks as suggested. Still cant view it on the web www.plasticair.com

God what am I doing wrong. Its in my folders and on the server.

Well, when you right click on the video, it says "none". When you try to
open it in the browser using the full path, it says "not found".

And, with the little broken Icon on the space, it all indicates it is not on
the server.

Or, the path is wrong.
