I am rebuilding my website with Frontpage 2003. The last couple of days
while im editing in design view the page starts acting like someone is
pressing the "enter" key. I have to shut it down and restart it. I have
search for spyware, viruses, and errors in my registery. Has anyone else had
this problem, and if so what do you have to do to make it stop?

Hello Michael,

If the screen is flashing momentarily, like something made it blink,
then it may be to do with a connection to the web.

Here's what I mean. If you have an image or script that is connected
to an external website, for example, a javascript banner ad, then
every now and then your machine may act like this as it struggles to
make a web connection. OR it could be that your low on memory and the
PC is struggling.

If you're now connected to the web at all, it may be that FP site
manager (not the editor, the other tool) is making calls and causing
this to happen. If this is open, close it and use the FP editor only.
see if that helps.

Regards,

Ivan

I wiped my harddrive and started from nothing a couple days ago. I
reinstalled Office 2003 and I havent published anything to my server since.
I do have images that are loaded from the internet. Frontpage hasn't been
connected to my server yet.

Download the FPcleanup tool from here, and try running it:
