FrontPage 2002 Publishing Problem

I'm trying to publish a web site that created with
Frontpage 2002 (OS - WinXP) to a web server (windows 2000,
IIS 5.0 and Frontpage server extensions 2000) received the
following message:

Server error: can not open file ".thumbs.db.tmp" for
writing

I deleted the .thumbs.db.tmp file on the web server and
tried to publsih again still getting the same error
message.

What it fix for this problem.

I believe you need to delete thumbs.db.tmp from your local machine as well.

The thumbs.db is created any time you open a folder under Windows XP
using Windows Explorer or My Computer.

Delete the file, then do not open your folders holding your web content outside of FP.

There is no thumds.db.tmp file on my local web site.

Thumbs.db is created when you use the thumbnail preview in windows explorer or my computer.
You can delete it from your web, however it will be recreated again if you continue to view that way.
I just leave it in the web and mark it "Don't Publish"
(there may be several of these files in your web, probably in image directories)
I also delete any on the server.
